How to Book Appointments

Please call the office at 403-289-4780 and request the service you would like. We book appointments in a first come - first serve basis, in time order. You will be given the next available appointment for that service.

Cancellations

We reserve the right to invoke a $5 cancellation fee for all cancelled or missed appointments. Cancellation fee must be paid before your next appointment is booked.

Podiatrist Appointments

Bring: Alberta Health Care Card to Appointment

Appointments: Visits with the podiatrist are by appointment only.
Fees: $10, paid to Dr Somer
FOR MEMBERS ONLY

Perfect for those who are suffering joint pain in their feet or ankles, heel pain, corns or calluses, require advanced nail care and/or regular foot exams (eg, if you are diabetic or suffer from neuropathy). Dr Somer is a mobile podiatrist and comes regularly to our Centre on Fridays every 6 weeks.

NEXT FRIDAY Clinics held in the Board Room are:
Friday clinics are every 6 weeks at our Centre beginning at noon with the last appointment at 2:50PM. Beginning in May, 2025, appointments will begin at 10 AM with the last appointment at 12:50 PM. All bookings are entered sequentially on his clinic days - no specific times may be requested. Appointments are usually held in the Boardroom: from the main entrance, go up the stairs, turn right and go to the end of the hallway. Turn left. The Boardroom is on the right side just before you reach the kitchen. Clinic dates and location are subject to change. If the clinic date changes, we will call to let you know.

Lawyer Appointments

Lawyer: Arlene K. Blake, C.Arb, BA, JD

Appointments: Visits with Arlene are by appointment only.

Fees: Requested donation of $20 with visit.

Arlene Blake, with MacPhail Harding, obtained her law degree at the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2006. Her general practice is comprised of Wills and Estates, Adult Guardianship, and Real Estate along with arbritration and administrative law.

Arlene has been a member of the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society since 1994. She has insight providing legal issues affecting older persons through her completion of the Elder Law Certificate program facilitated through Osgoode Hall Law School.

MONDAY MORNING CLINICS: Lawyer Clinics: Arlene's clinics take place in a private area at our Centre on specified mornings. Please call to make an appointment and to inquire when Arlene's next clinic will be held.

Hearing Clinic Appointments

Times are 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM

Additional: You will need to fill out documentation in the office before we confirmed your appointment. We could email the documents to you or come into the office to fill out the required documents. Also we will need your Alberta Health Card

The Hearing Clinic:
The Hearing Clinic is conducted on Friday in the Board Room on the following scheduled dates: May 23rd, June 13th, October 31st and November 21st.

Appointments are required, as availability is limited and each session lasts one hour. When scheduling your appointment, you will need to complete two documents in advance to secure your booking with Hearing for You.

Appointments can be made either by phone or in person. If you schedule over the phone, the two required forms will be emailed to you. Please ensure you have your Alberta Health Card ready when making your appointment, as the clinic coordinator will need this information in advance to finalize your booking.

Commissioner for Oaths

Jeannette Provo, our Executive Director is appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths in Alberta. If you require a witnessed signature for certain documents such as affidavits or statutory declarations, call Jeannette to book an appointment directly with her. 403-289-4780, Ext 202.
