Membership Benefits

Membership is not just for seniors!  Our memberships are available for all adults, 18+. Those who are 55 years of age and older have voting rights at our AGM.

• $40 Annual Fees (as of Jan 1, 2025). Renew every January. We drop the fees to half price in the Fall. 
• Membership Year: January to December
• Register for classes & events at Member Pricing
• Join a Member-Only Club
• Speaker series with engaging topics
• Attend special Members-Only events
• Access Members-Only professional services such as our Podiatrist, Lawyer and Commissioner of Oaths
• Volunteer and have lots of fun with a very welcoming and friendly group
• Full Voting Rights for those 55+, we encourage you to come to our AGMs and cast your vote!
• Associate Membership for those under 55 (we welcome all adults, 18 years and over!)
• A monthly newsletter, the Gazette, and weekly eBlasts that keep our members up to date on Centre and Community Events.  
• Upgrade to a Super Membership to have member access & discounts at 12+ different Activity Centres in Calgary

Stay Active, Stay Engaged & Stay Connected

At Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre, we encourage everyone to Stay Active, Stay Involved and Stay Connected. Here are just a few ways to make the most of your membership:

• Join clubs, classes & activities.
• Meet new friends! 
• Learn new skills or cultivate the skills you already have.
• Volunteer! This organization wouldn't be what it is without the volunteers who donate their time throughout the year. There's a volunteer opportunity to suit your skills, interests and schedule. Whether it's once a week, once a month or once in a while.
• Join us at Tea & Conversation (T&C)! This flagship program provides an opportunity to join together for tea, conversation, music and dancing. It provides physical and social involvement for those at the highest risk of isolation for all adults and seniors. Come, join us or consider volunteering.
• Help us by attending our Fundraising Events! As a non-profit organization, we rely on fundraising events to help cover costs. Our biggest fundraising event is an immensely popular Garage Sale in the Spring.
• Donate! We appreciate all donations more than you can say.  Charitable receipts are available for donations of $20 or more.
• Sponsorship is also very appreciated and gratefully accepted, especially at our events and Tea & Conversation. If you are linked to an organization that would like to have more of an online presence, please contact our Executive Director.
