    Spring cleaning?  Don't throw out those treasures - donate them!  Donations are only collected on the 3 days prior to the Garage Sale.  

    DONATION DATES: Wed, June 12th; Thurs, June 13th; and Fri, June 14th. 

    DONATION TIMES: 9AM - 3PM ONLY

    WHERE: Triwood Arena parking lot - pleae back into the spot next to the sliding arena doors. Volunteers and staff will be on hand to empty your vehicle.

    DONATION RESTRICTIONS: 

    • All donations must be CLEAN, have all working parts included and must be in good working condition.
    • Donations Not Accepted: Large and heavy furniture or appliances, jars of any kind (except mason jars), narrow-wheeled golf carts, microwave ovens, cribs, baby seats, booster or car seats, NO STUFFED ANIMALS, luggage, pillows, skis, tires, electric typewriters, magazines, computer equipment, paints, chemicals, and (new for this year) NO CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS of any kind. Note that you will be asked to take them back if you try to slip them in!

    Every spring, we hold a HUGE Garage Sale as a fundraiser for our programs. This year, we are holding it INDOORS at the TRIWOOD ARENA at 2244 Chicoutimi Dr NW, Calgary, on Saturday, June 15th from 8AM - 3PM.  Come early for best selection!  Pay by Cash, Credit or Debit. And really, it's so HUGE that we have a GARAGE SALE MAP for you!

    Want a SNEAK PREVIEW?  Come and join our Garage Sale Volunteer Crew!  Join a committee, help us sort/price, set-up, tear-down, or help sell on the day of the sale!  Our Garage Sale Volunteers get a lot of perks too - from early viewing, complimentary snacks/lunch, early access to the sale, and being celebrated at our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon each spring!

    FOOT CLINIC

    Perfect for those who are suffering joint pain in their feet or ankles, heel pain, corns or calluses, require advanced nail care and/or regular foot exams (eg, if you are diabetic or suffer from neuropathy). Dr Somer is a mobile podiatrist and comes regularly to our Centre on Fridays every 6 weeks.

    • Appointments: Visits with the podiatrist are by appointment only. 
    • Fees: $10, paid to Dr Somer
    • FOR MEMBERS ONLY


    Appointments

    • Call 403-289-4780 for an appointment;
    • Friday clinics are every 6 weeks at our Centre beginning at noon with the last appointment at 2:50PM;
    • All bookings are entered sequentially on his clinic days - no specific times may be requested;
    • Clinics fill up quickly - book ahead to be sure you don't miss out;
    • Appointments are held in the Foothills Room: from the main entrance, go down the stairs and follow the hallway all the way down to the exit.  The room is the last door on the LEFT side of the hall;

    Beanbag Toss & Ring Toss, Line Dancing, Drawing, Eurchre & Crib tournaments.  

    CHARLESWOOD ROOM - 25 people max for each session (50 people for both slots)

    • 10:00-11:15 Line Dance – Learn how to dance a short dance with our instructor Lisa
    • 11:30-12:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes
    • 1:00-2:15 Line Dance - Learn how to dance a short dance with our instructor Lisa
    • 2:30-3:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes

    COLLINGWOOD ROOM - 4 people per bean bag/ring toss game (16 in total for both slots)

    • 10:00-11:15 Bean Bag Toss & Ring Toss
    • 11:30-12:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes
    • 1:00-2:15 Bean Bag Toss & Ring Toss
    • 2:30-3:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes

    BOARDROOM – 8 people per slot for a (total of 16)

    • 10:15-11:15 Drawing Class - Learn how to draw a picture with charcoals with our instructor Alesha
    • 11:30-12:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes
    • 1:00-2:15 Drawing Class - Learn how to draw a picture with charcoals with our instructor Alesha
    • 2:30-3:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes

    FOOTHILLS ROOM – 4 people per Euchre/Crib games (16 in total for both slots)

    • 10:15-11:15 Euchre/Crib
    • 11:30-12:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes
    • 1:00-2:15 Euchre/Crib
    • 2:30-3:00 Judging - Judges will decide on winners and give out prizes

    12:00-1:00 LUNCH will be served in the pub to those who have purchased tickets only. Lunch Tickets must be purchased at time of registration. Absolutely no orders will be taken the day of the event. You can call the office at 403-289-4780 and place your order and pay for it with a credit card. Orders must be placed by August 30th.

    LUNCH MENU (Purchase at time of registration): 

    • Fish and Chips:2 pieces or beef battered cod served with creamy coleslaw, Fries and Tartar sauce
    • Open faced Hot Turkey Sandwich: Slowly roasted turkey breast on Sourdough toast, rich turkey gravy, Cranberry sauce, Served with Fries
    • Braised Beef Sandwich: Red wine Braised Beef with Garlic aioli, Cheddar Cheese, Creamy coleslaw, Brioche Bun, house pickles, served with Fries
    • Meatball Sub: House made meatballs braised in tomato sauce, provolone cheese, House pickles, Balsamic Aioli, served with Fries
    • Sausage and Perogies: Farmers Sausage, Cheese Perogies, Brown Butter Sour Cream Sauce, Braised Cabbage

    *Can sub for vegetarian sausage upon request)
