Centrally located in downtown Calgary, Kerby Centre has been a landmark for Calgary Seniors since 1973. Unison is a not-for-profit organization which empowers individuals aged 50 and above to lead fulfilling lives. Built upon the rich history of the Veiner Centre and Kerby Centre, Unison is inspired by a century of community-building and senior well-being. Adapting to evolving communication methods, Unison honours the legacy while expanding outreach to previously underserved seniors. With gratitude for past contributions, Unison at Kerby takes a unified step forward to ensure all seniors can live their best lives.
Unison at Kerby's services include Active Aging, Senior Supports (housing, benefits & pensions, legal questions, taxes), Thrive Food Safety (bringing food and bread clinics to Calgary communities and Super Member Centres to combat hunger), Wellness Connection Centre, Adult Day Program, and Elder Abuse Outreach and Shelter.
