UKULELE Ongoing Experienced 

This course will be the continuation of the 2023 group ukulele class and will be focused on learning a wide range of pop and contemporary songs, with an emphasis on novel material and student input to steer the direction of the class. The overall skill level will still be “intermediate,” but students can expect to see songs presented at several skill levels to give an interesting perspective on how to interpret music for the ukulele.

Course materials will be drawn from the instructor’s repertoire as well as from the song requests of participants. Reference materials will be available, and a couple of the classes will be focused on some useful aspects of music theory (chord construction, playing in key, improvising, etc) as it relates to the material at hand.
