Prerequisite: An understanding of Watercolor and Drawing
In the advance watercolor we are going to practice many basic watercolor techniques and incorporating Color Theory concepts into our projects: Complementary, Secondary, Monochromatic, Analogues, warm, cool, high , and low intensity colors.
We will be focusing on Composition and how to use your own images and create your own artwork.
We will be learning about adding different textures by playing with many techniques like salt, alcohol, stamping, plastic wrap, sgraffito, transfers, ink, and gouache resist.
Colors recommended to add to your pallet

Other Materials
One tube of Windsor Newton/Cotman White Gouache (used just like watercolor paint) its opaque rather than transparent. We will be using this with India Ink for a resist Piece |
Small bottle of Black Indian Ink or Black Chinese Ink |
Foam Brush (1½ or 2 inches wide)
