Since 1973, Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre (CPAC) has been dedicated to enriching the lives of adults 18 years and older through meaningful connections, opportunities, and community engagement.

CPAC is seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors and Finance Committee. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission, guide strategic direction, and support continued growth.

Key Areas of Focus

Finance Committee Member

Provide strategic guidance on resource management and planning to ensure CPAC’s financial sustainability. Support strong financial oversight and succession planning.

Information/Digital Technology Expert

Strengthen CPAC’s technology capacity and help advance priorities outlined in our five-year strategic plan.

Directors-at-Large

Enhance governance and strategic planning while championing CPAC’s mission and community value.

Commitment and What We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals with a strong belief in Confederation Park’s mission, a passion for building a vibrant community, and expertise in areas such as finance, technology, governance, law, fundraising, or government relations. Candidates should have community connections, be willing to share their skills and knowledge, and be committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse organizational culture.

Commitment

Serve a minimum two-year term, with the opportunity to renew for a second term
Attend regular board and committee meetings (as applicable)
Participate in an annual planning session and organizational events
