Our daily living services help you stay comfortable and supported at home and in the community. From light housekeeping and laundry assistance to clothing support and financial guidance, we provide a helping hand with care, respect, and a personal touch.

Boutique on the Park

Stylish new-to-you fashions! Boutique on the Park offers quality, gently used clothing and accessories for active adults and community members. Shop casual wear, special occasion pieces, shoes, coats, and jewelry at affordable prices.

Free and Discounted Outfits Program

Through community referrals and social agencies, qualified individuals can receive essential clothing items at no cost or reduced rates. This program helps those in need access seasonal wear that supports comfort, confidence, and independence.

Donations are accepted on Fridays by appointment only.

We want to ensure nothing of personal value is donated by mistake and that each item meets our quality standards.

Personalized Shopping

If the Boutique is closed during office hours, please ask Debbie or Richard in the office to open it for you (excluding event days). Enjoy a quiet, personalized shopping experience at your own pace.

  • New underwear with store tag attached
  • Purses, shoes/boots, ties, scarves, coats, and jewelry

Not accepted: Household items or underwear without tags

Housekeeping

Our light housekeeping program provides trusted support for older adults and community members needing a helping hand around the home. We ensure homes are clean, safe, and comfortable while offering friendly companionship and meaningful work opportunities for local staff.

Cleaning Supplies and Equipment to Provide

Clients must supply their own cleaning products and equipment in good working order. Please have the following ready for each visit:
  • General: Minimum of 2 cleaning rags
  • Glass/Mirrors: Glass cleaner, paper towels
  • Floors: Broom and dustpan, mop and pail, floor cleaner or soap
  • Bathrooms: Toilet bowl cleaner, toilet brush, all-purpose cleaner, tub/sink cleanser
  • Counters: All-purpose cleaner with rag
  • Stove: Brush or scrubby, stove-top cleaner (oven cleaner should be applied a day before service)
  • Dusting: Swiffer duster, extenders, rags, furniture polish

If proper supplies are not available, your service may be temporarily paused until they’re restocked.

Special Needs Assistance Program

Low-income seniors (65 years and over) may receive financial support for appliances, health needs, and personal services such as housekeeping. Housekeeping is considered a personal support under SNA and has specific restrictions.

Maximum yearly benefits are based on posted SNA rates. 2024 maximum: $1,356 per benefit year. The benefit year runs from July 1 to June 30.

Reimbursements are submitted through your MyAlberta Seniors Account. Pre-approval is required before submitting any receipts. You can also mail or fax claims if online submission isn’t possible.
