She has served on the Board for many years in various roles and, over the past year as a non-board member, remained active on multiple committees. As President, she focuses on guiding the Centre’s growth, fostering engagement, and supporting members, staff, and the community as CPAC continues to evolve.

Neil Little

Born and raised in Manitoba, Neil has lived and worked in Alberta for many years. He has held senior management roles in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, primarily in construction engineering. New to the Board of this organization, Neil also serves on two other boards, reflecting his passion for golf and mentoring students pursuing post-secondary education. With formal business and accounting training, plus learning in leadership, Board governance, and risk management, he looks forward to supporting CPAC’s mission with members, staff, and the community.

Our Staff

Jeannette Provo

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jeannette Provo has been working with adults for nearly 17 years. Previously, she spent 5+ years at Nifty Fifties and 7+ years at Greater Forest Lawn before joining Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre in August 2018. Jeannette’s goal for the Centre is to leverage the talents of her staff to bring diversity to programs and expand on the excellent classes and activities already offered.

Nigel Hand

PROGRAM MANAGER

Nigel joined Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre in 2022 and has become an integral part of daily operations. He plays a key role in nearly every aspect of the organization, with a primary focus on program coordination and co-hosting the popular Tea & Conversation with Debbie Nay.

Nigel brings energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to building community through engaging programs and activities. His hands-on approach ensures members always feel welcomed and included. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar at home, spending time with his cats, exploring the outdoors through hikes with friends, attending local sporting events, and playing recreational hockey. Known for his big heart (and big appetite), Nigel is always happy to help with leftovers. Dedicated to personal and professional growth, he is actively upgrading his nonprofit sector education through ongoing coursework and training.
