The pelvic floor plays an essential role in reproduction, bladder, bowel & sexual function. But did you know that your jaw, feet, hips, posture - as well as breathing are all deeply connected to your pelvic floor? And to each other?
Concerning pelvic health symptoms often appear as stress or urge incontinence, sexual dysfunction, chronic pelvic or lower back pain - to name a few. Many people often do not seek help - perhaps because we think some of these changes are normal and may appear due to the hormonal shifts of ageing.
Class info: Pelvic Floor Yoga classes are designed for any women looking to gain a better understanding of how your pelvic floor assists you during movement and daily life. We will combine breath awareness, pelvic floor release & strengthening exercises, along with yoga postures, to help improve pelvic floor and core function. These classes can provide insight and improve your awareness & connections to your pelvis to assist with daily well-being.
Items needed:
Please bring your own Yoga Mat, a Folded Blanket and 2 yoga blocks
