  • Course description:

    Beginner Line Dance, no partner required. You will experience a variety of dance and music. Having fun and meeting new people very important.

    Instructor: Gwen Newll

    Dancing 19 years, Ballroom Level 1 Instructor

    Teaching since 2006. Alberta Amateur Line Dance Champion 3 years

    Calgary Amateur Line Dance Champion 3 years

    7 Gold Metals – Dance and choreography – Worlds Line Dance Events

    What equipment is required by the student to bring to class?

    A positive attitude and a smile.

    What equipment will the instructor provide the students?

    Stop sheets and video links along with playlist for the following week.

    What clothing is required?

    Comfortable, indoor shoes that turn easily on a floor. No runners.

    What level of competency should the student be at to attend this course?

    Little or no dance experience is required.

    Is this course available for drop-ins?

    No this course is not available for Drop-ins.

    Is there anything else you would like the students to know about your class?

    Be patient, come often, ask questions, learn dance floor etiquette and dance terminology.
